The Soundcoat portfolio of absorption materials consists of open and closed cell, flexible polyurethane, polyimide, melamine and other foams designed to reduce reverberant airborne noise.

Soundcoat's absorptive noise control products can also provide hybrid solutions for dual acoustic functions of sound absorption and sound transmission loss. All Soundcoat acoustic foams are made to provide maximum sound absorption over a wide frequency range in minimum thickness. These foams absorb noise in everything from trucks and buses to semiconductor testing equipment, industrial buildings, and oxygen concentrators.

All absorption materials are available in sheets, die-cut parts or kits with high performance pressure sensitive adhesive for easy installation. Many of the products listed below can also be made into custom composite materials in our manufacturing facilities. Oil- and water-repellency are available in several materials, as noted with “HY” product names. Additional finishing capabilities such as embossing for aesthetics and Uniseal for durability are also available.
