DYAD
DYAD is a constrained layer vibration damping material specifically formulated from viscoelastic elastomers to provide high damping over a broad range of temperature and frequency.
DYAD dissipates vibration energy in thin gauge metals or structures. It is a high efficiency vibration damping composite specially designed to reduce structure borne noise resulting from unwanted vibration, impact, resonance and coincidence problems.
DYAD is formulated in multiple types depending on the temperature range desired, it should be mounted to the base and constraining layer using a stiff epoxy, such as our B-Flex epoxy for maximum performance.
