Composite: Matte Film Facing with Soundfoam O
This composite material is created by a specialized process of laminating a urethane matte film facing to the top side of Soundfoam O, a polyester urethane foam. This unique process keeps the face of the foam micro-porous to maintain a quality acoustic absorption rating, while still resisting the ingress of fluids. The surface treatment improves durability, cleanability, and shifts the acoustic absorption curve to the lower frequencies. The film facing is applied to sheets of foam, and after the lamination process, parts can be cut to shape.
